Description
New to the Jefferson heater range is the Inferno iR70 infrared heater. This clean burning unit operates on either, diesel, kerosene or paraffin, and is suitable for well ventilated indoor applications. It produces 70,000 Btu, and contains a 15 litre tank which allows approximately 7 hours running time, making this a very economical unit.
How does it work? The hot temperatures generated by burning fuel inside the unit, heat either a steel tube (tube heater) or ceramic surface (luminous heater) within the heater. The heat from this surface is then emitted in the form of infrared radiant energy. Reflectors direct the infrared radiant energy downward to ultimately warm the floor and objects below it.
